I’m Mia Stokes—a speaker, vocalist, and songwriter who believes in the power of raw truth and radical transformation. My creative journey began behind the scenes in 2007, interning with Interscope Records in urban promotions, helping elevate artists like Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, and Keyshia Cole. But while I was helping others shine, I was hiding my own gifts.

Everything changed when life took a detour. During my first incarceration in 2011, I found my voice—not just as a writer, but as a vessel for healing. Since 2014, I’ve been an ASCAP-published songwriter, known for performing only with live bands and gracing stages like Discovery Green in Houston before crowds of 30,000+, opening for artists like Nappy Roots.

Today, I’m rebuilding and rebranding—not just to perform, but to use the world as my stage. Through music and speaking, my mission is to inspire second chances and help others rise, heal, and live boldly in truth.
